Slinkys for shortwave antennas -
There seems to be some confusion and somewrong claimsover how much wireIS INa Regular Slinky and how muchIS INa Slinky JR used for shortwave antennas here on okay so I thought I would clear it up so people would understand.Todays Regular Slinky has approx 65 feet of wire if you would be able to stretch it all out *Note when the Original Slinky came out in 1945 it contained 80 feet of wire*.. A Slinky JR has approx 29.3 Feet of wire if it were all stretched out in a straight line.
